Cancellation Policy

Thank you for booking your Mary Kay consultation through The Calico Boutique. My goal is to serve you with excellence and provide a peaceful, personalized experience. By booking an appointment, you agree to the policy below. Booking & Confirmation: Appointments must be booked in advance and are confirmed once you receive a confirmation message/email with your date, time, and appointment type. Appointment Type: In-person consultations are preferred and will be offered as the default option when available. Virtual consultations are also available by default. If you need to switch from in-person to virtual (or vice versa), please request the change at least 24 hours before your appointment. Consultation Focus: Sessions are skin care–focused (skin type identification, routine building, and targeted recommendations). Color matching is included to support a natural, flattering complexion match, even if you wear minimal makeup. Preparation: For best results, arrive with a clean face if possible (or be prepared to remove makeup at the start). If you have allergies, sensitivities, or are using strong actives (retinol, exfoliating acids) or prescription products, please let me know before we begin. Late Arrivals: A 5–10 minute grace period is allowed. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may shorten your session. Arrivals 15+ minutes late may require rescheduling and may be treated as a late cancellation. Cancellations/Rescheduling: Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within 24 hours may be considered a late cancellation. No-shows (missed appointments without notice) may require a booking fee to schedule again. Repeated no-shows may limit future booking availability. Purchases & Results: Product purchases are optional and separate from the consultation unless stated otherwise. Results vary by individual and consistency. This consultation provides cosmetic/skin care education and is not medical advice; for medical concerns, consult a licensed professional. Respectful Experience: The Calico Boutique is faith-led and community-centered. Please arrive with kindness and respect. I reserve the right to end a session if behavior becomes inappropriate or unsafe.
